Our Story

Lina was designed by two clinicians, Nick Dobrzelecki, RN, MBA and Antony Chu, MD, MBA, who were frustrated by gaps in healthcare that could easily be solved with technology. They brought together their experience and passion to create a practical solution that was easy for schools to adopt. Lina is just one of many innovations under parent company, Titan Health Corporation – an organization expressly focused on addressing problems in healthcare no one else has.

Nick Dobrzelecki

“In 1946, the U.S. developed the School Lunch Act. But there’s no federal mandate for schools to provide a medical professional. You wouldn’t send your kid to school without a lunch. Why without a nurse?”

Solving The Nursing Shortage

School nurses is a growing problem in the U.S. In fact, almost 60 percent of schools in the U.S. don't have a full-time nurse, according to a study published by the National Association of School Nurses. At the same time, kids today are facing chronic health and increasing mental health issues. Without a school nurse, teachers who lack training are being tasked to provide care. The impact on kids is significant, affecting more than their health, but their ability to learn and thrive. Lina is helping solve this, one school at a time.

Mission-Driven

Named after Lina Rogers, the first school nurse in the United States in 1902, Lina’s mission is to keep kids healthy, so they can thrive at school.

Vision

Beyond telehealth care delivery, our vision is to support a seamless medical home for every child by connecting schools, parents and doctors.
